<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retreating prevention structure for a foot pedal mountable easily at a low cost. SOLUTION: This structure is provided with an accelerator bracket 18 provided on a dash panel 3 partitioning an engine room 2 and a compartment 1 and having an inclined surface 19a inclined downward toward a rear side of a vehicle body and a brake pedal 7 suspended and supported on the pedal bracket 8 provided on the dash panel 3 and having a formed engagement pin 17 engaged so as to be guidable along the inclined surface 19a. When load higher than a prescribed load is applied from a front side of the vehicle body, a lower end 7b of the brake pedal 7 is moved to the front side of the vehicle body since the engagement pin 17 is guided to the front side of the vehicle body along the inclined surface 19a.</p> |
