PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a sash roller capable of adjusting the vertical position of a wheel and execute at a low cost. SOLUTION: This sash roller is formed by a casing 1 fitted to the lower end of a sliding door, an elevating case 3 mounted in the casing 1, the wheel pivoted in the elevating case 3 to project a part outward from the lower end of the elevating case 3, and a lifting and lowering means for the elevating case 3. The lifting and lowering means for the elevating case is formed by a rotary operating board 2 supported on a surface side wall part 5 of the casing 3 to rotate on the axis parallel to the wheel axis, a spiral cam groove 14 formed on the inside of the rotary operating board 2, and a wheel support shaft 19 supporting the wheel 4 in the elevating case 3 and having a projecting end 19b projected from the elevating case 3 loosely fitted in the spiral cam groove 14. The rotary operating board 2 is provided with a rotary operating part exposed to the outside of the surface side wall part 5 of the casing 1.
