PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillatory stop device suitable for stopping various doors from oscillating in a designated position. SOLUTION: The lower end of one side surface 3a of a door 3 is provided with a member 1 different from the door 3, and the lower end surface of the door side fitting member 1 is provided with a recessed part 4 in which an engagement part 13 of an engagement member 9 is fitted, which is formed to open to both right and left side surfaces 1a, 1b of the door side fitting member 1. The engagement member 9 disposed on the floor side has one end part supported by a horizontal support shaft 11 to be vertically rocked between the lying attitude and the inclining attitude, and the free end part is provided with an engaging part 13 engaging with an engaged part 12 provided in the recessed part 4. At least one of the engaged part 12 and the engagement member 9 is provided with a magnet 5, whereby the engagement member 9 is raised from the lying attitude to the inclining attitude by the magnetic attractive force of the magnet 5 to engage the engaging part 13 with the engaged part 12.
