PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separate kimono giving an appearance of natural and traditional Japanese kimono without spoiling the advantages of conventional separate kimono. SOLUTION: This kimono is a conventional two-part lady's Japanese clothes comprising a pair of an upper clothing and a bottom clothing 2; wherein the bottom clothing 2 of a wrap-around-skirt shape is so designed that a hole 21a at one end to pass a waist cord therethrough of plural holes 21 to pass a waist cord therethrough sewn on the waist part is sewn on the position lower than the other end, thus when the bottom clothing 2 is wrapped around a wearer and the waist is tightened through passing the waist cord 23 into the holes 21, the hole 21a sewn below the other hole is raised up to the waist part in the arrow 22a direction shown in the figure 2 (b); whereby the lower part (skirt) 24 of a front gore 22 is raised up somewhat, and the end line of the front gore 22 neatly and vertically extends and the bottom line (skirt) does not comes down out of shape to give neat and smart appearance.
