PRODUCTION OF ULTRAFINE SPUN-BOND NONWOVEN FABRIC

PURPOSE: A process of preparing a high quality spun-bond nonwoven fabric by adding a secondary component to a matrix polymer during the production of ultrafine spun-bond nonwoven fabrics is provided, which improves workability and reduces the cost of production by use of conventional manufacturing apparatus. CONSTITUTION: In the process for supplying polyester or polyamide for the manufacture of a polyester or polyamide spun-bond nonwoven fabric, 0.5 to 3.0% by weight of a secondary component polymer selected from polymethacrylate, polystyrene or derivatives thereof is introduced to a matrix polymer.
