PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonization vessel and a carbonization treating equipment which are possible to efficiently carry out the carbonizing treatment of a medical waste, or the like, by a far-infrared radiation effect and besides don't cause malodor, or the like, even in a room, or the like. SOLUTION: The carbonization vessel 1 comprises a carbonization vessel body 2 which is enameled with a far-infrared radioactive material 3 on an inner wall surface, and a lid body 4 which is possible to close the carbonization vessel body 2 and further has a built-in heater element 5 therein, has an inner surface enameled with a far-infrared radioactive material 7, and has an exhaust hole 8 formed so as to draw exhaust gas from the inner surface to an upper surface. A material (A) to be carbonized is effectively carbonized by a synergistic effect by the far-infrared radiation, and besides, malodor, black smoke, an injurious material, or the like, is removed by a bubbling effect due to a catalyst and minus ion water.
