<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner, equipped with a filter cleaning function, which automatically sweeps off dust on a filter which is bent and folded in a complex manner. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a filter 5, a heat exchanger 7, a blower 6, and a filter cleaning device 9 on the air passage 4, connecting an air inlet 2 provided from the front face to the top face of the main body enclosure 1 of the air conditioner to an air outlet 2, provided in the lower part of the enclosure 1. The filter cleaning device 9 is constituted of a rotating means 10, which rotates the filter 5 along the inside of the air inlet 2 of the enclosure 1, a dust-removing means 11, which removes the dust on the filter 5, and a dust-housing section 12.</p> |
