<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical or nearly spherical polyester resin toner which can be fixed at a low temperature, without using an anti-offsetting liquid in a heat roller fixing system and gives a developed image having superior quality. SOLUTION: The spherical or nearly spherical toner for developing an electrostatic charge image comprises resin particles, in which a colorant and a wax are contained in a bonding resin. The bonding resin contains a crosslinked polyester resin, the amount of a tetrahydrofuran-insoluble component in the bonding resin is in the range of 0.5-20% and the average circularity of the toner defined by the equation [(average circularity of the toner)=(peripheral length of a circle having the same area as the projected area of each particle)/(the peripheral length of the projected image of each particle)] is 0.97 or larger.</p> |
