摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch signal probe, by which a measuring force not only in the bending direction but also in the twisting direction of a stylus can be detected with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: A stylus 1 is provided with a detecting-element support part 1E, which supports and fixes the piezoelectric elements 21 to 24 and a rod 1D, which is installed at the support part 1E. The support part 1E comprises a plurality of flange parts 1F, whose cross sections at right angles to the shaft of the rod 1D, form regular polygons. Displacement-detecting elements are attached to the side faces of the flange parts 1F, in a state such that they are tilted at a prescribed angleαwith respect to the shaft of the rod 1D. When the measurement force in the twisting direction Q or the bending direction P is generated at the rod 1D via a contact sphere 1A, since the measuring force is transmitted along the nearly longitudinal direction of the piezoelectric elements 21 to 24, the piezoelectric elements 21 to 24 are surely expanded contracted, so that changes in a state amount can be detected fully.
