PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element used for precoat filtration capable of easily maintaining a micro spacing between adjacent material wires. SOLUTION: The filter element used for the precoat filtration is characterized in that the wires are wound in coil 1 state and an interstice 9 is formed between adjacent wires of the coil 1 by interposing a thin plate 2 between the adjacent wires.
