<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball made of an organic sulfur compound and excellent in a balance between a hitting feeling and a carry. SOLUTION: This golf ball comprises a core, which is formed of a vulcanizate of a rubber composition containing base material rubber, a metal salt ofα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, an organic peroxide, an inorganic metal salt, and alkylphenyl disulfide compounds represented by the general formula below, or a multilayer core including one or more layers constituted of the vulcanizate, and a single-layer/multilayer cover formed on the core.</p> |
