PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental improvement member developed to enable mild deodorizing and moisture absorption without causing whatever physical burden to a hospitalized patient and also effective acoustic absorption using a single installation. SOLUTION: This environmental improvement member is constituted of an air-permeable cylindrical body (1), an acoustic absorption block (3) having an acoustic absorption chamber (R) which is opened on the inner face side of the air-permeable cylindrical body (1) and a carbon fiber sheet (2) arranged between the acoustic absorption blocks (3) of the air-permeable cylindrical body (1).
