PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a decorative metal plate having a decorative surface which is high in designability and resistant to the adhesion of dust by smoothing the decorative surface formed by etching by a simple means. SOLUTION: The decorative metal plate is produced through a process in which a resist film 12 corresponding to an image pattern is formed on the surface of a metal plate 11, a process in which the surface of the metal film 12 excluding a part covered with the resist film 12 is etched, a process in which after the resist film 12 is removed, the surface of the metal plate 11 is side- etched uniformly, and a process in which the surface of the metal plate is polished. |
