PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for electrically moving shelves which have a system to make a walk way safely in case of an emergency such as a blackout. SOLUTION: Plural moving shelves 3 are placed for moving on plural rails 2 which are installed on a floor adjacent to a fixed shelf 1. The equipment for electrically moving shelve can move optional shelves and make a walk way between them by driving a motor provided on each moving shelf 3 when an operational part 28 placed on the fixed shelf 1 or each moving shelf 3 is functioned. A luminous body 30 is placed on the operational part 28 or near it, and light emits from the luminous body 30 using an emergency electric power source when commercial power source is cut off.
