PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability by reinforcing a stopper touching part which is at the lid of a rice cooker and to restrict the opening angle of the lid, without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: A lid body 10 of the lid is reinforced by a reinforcing plate 5, which is made from stainless steel. This lid body 10 is freely openably/ closably fixed to the cooker body 1 of the rice cooker through a hinge pin 2. The stopper touching part 9 made at the lid body 10 is touched by a stopper receiving part made at the cooker body 1 of the rice cooker, and the opening angle of the lid 3 is restricted. At a part of the plate 5, there is provided a stopper reinforcing part 21. This reinforcing part 21 is piled on the touching part 9 to reinforce the part 9.
