PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a cycle time in the case of feeding a long press material into a press machine, to improve setting of the press material into a press die, and to prevent an occurrence of inferior pressed products. SOLUTION: In the case of press-working of the long press material by consecutively feeding the long press material into a press die of a press machine by a feeding apparatus in sequence, the press materials are fed to the press die 3 while holding the press material by the first feeding material 7. While the press materials are fed to the press die 3 by the first feeding apparatus 7, the press materials are continuously fed to the press die 3 by switching holding of the press materials to a second feeding apparatus 20. Thus, the cycle time can be shortened when the long press materials are fed to the press die 3. Further, setting of the press materials to the press die 3 of the press machine 1 can be improved, and inferior forming of the pressed products can be prevented.
