PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel coating material in place of a conventional paper material, a food packaging film or sheet having oxygen barrier properties and having no fear of endocrine disrupter and a transparent food container or the like having the above mentioned characteristics and usable as a container of food cooked in a microwave oven at a high temperature exceeding 200 deg.C. SOLUTION: The coating material comprises a paper material or a fiber material and the polymeric film having an alkoxysilane structure as a main structure provided on at least the single surface thereof. The food packaging film or sheet and the food container comprising the coating material are also disclosed.
