PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the size of a chopping board-housing section while keeping the size of an overall dish dryer small by effectively utilizing a dead space generated in front of a hinge section of the lid in the case where the lid of the dish dryer is constituted of three pieces of lids, a fixed lid, an intermediate lid and a front lid. SOLUTION: The lid 2 which is formed of the fixed lid 7, the intermediate lid 8 and the front lid 9 is set in the rear half section of the dryer body 1. Then, within the range of the dead space generated in front of the hinge section 32 of the lid 2, the side surface of a dish basket 3 is expanded to the outside. Thus, the chopping board-housing section 35 is formed.
