PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey Japanese vermicelli, which is long, soft and easy to break off, to the top end of a gutter in an easy and sanitary way. SOLUTION: Pressured water supplied from a pipe 2 is pumped at a high rate into a pipe 4, which stands upright at the bottom of a container 1, by a nozzle 3 which is also located at the bottom of the container where Japanese vermicelli stagnates. The pumped water continuously picks up the Japanese vermicelli, carries it upward and spews it from the end of the pipe 4 onto the top end of the gutter 5.
