PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press forming apparatus effectively producing a trimmed and flanged compound product by performing both of trimming and flange processing in a same die. SOLUTION: In the press forming apparatus 1, a lower die 2 is provided with a die having lower cutting edges 11 and 15 performing a first and second trimming of a work and also a lower bending edge 10 performing flange processing of the work. An upper die 3 is provided with a punch having upper cutting edges 32 and 34 cutting the work in accordance with the lower cutting edges 11 and 15 and an upper bending edge 33, which locates in the back of the aforementioned upper cutting edge, performing flange processing. The apparatus is also provided with a lower movable cutting edge 6 supported via a vertical motion mechanism 20, in which the mechanism is located adjacent to the lower cutting edge at a crossed point between a trimming line and flange line of the aforementioned work, and a pushed moving means 36 operating the vertical motion mechanism.
