PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick-type cosmetic container which is handled in a manner that the stick-type cosmetic material is rised up from an outer cylinder for use and lowered down inside after use, and can prevent the cosmetic material from breaking and falling off. SOLUTION: In this stick-type cosmetic container, provided with a sleeve 11, an inner holder 12A to go up and down against the sleeve 11 under the control of a control part 13, and a stick-type cosmetic material 14 filled inside and jointly formed with the inner holder 12A, which is moved up and down together with the movement of the inner holder 12A, there is a penetration hole 19A at the joint between the inner holder 12A and the cosmetic material 14. As this penetration hole 19A is filled with a part of the cosmetic material 14, it helps to prevent the cosmetic material 14 from falling off the inner holder 12A and breaking halfway.
