PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car exterior structure, in which an exterior model of a car can be easily changed by simplifying the replacement of the panel members forming car exterior. SOLUTION: On the outer surface of a readymade door panel 10 pre-fitted to a car, a retainer 1, framed in a shape along the outer rim (front, back, and low) of the above door panel 10, is fixed with rivets. An upturn edge 1b of the retainer 1 is provided with holes, which are also provided on the outer rim edge 2b of an exterior panel 2, having approximately the same shape with the above door panel and bearing a molding more original than that of the above door panel. Holes of the upturn edge 1b and the outer rim edge 2b are aligned and fixed by fastenings, such as bolts.
