<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball having dimple patterns arranged in the octahedron form and reducing dimple effect when section large circles L1, L2, L3 are matched with the fastest part. SOLUTION: The surface of this golf ball is divided into eight spherical regular triangles T1-T8 by means of twelve sectioning lines formed by projecting twelve sides of an octahedron inscribed in the surface of the golf ball to the surface. In each of the spherical regular triangles, dimples are arranged. In any of six apexes P1-P6, four spherical regular triangular dimple patterns having these apexes in common are different from each other. Two spherical regular triangular dimple patterns facing each other while sharing these apexes with each other are not symmetrical mutually with respect to a line/point. In any of the twelve sectioning lines, two spherical regular triangular dimple patterns sharing these sectioning lines with each other are not symmetrical mutually with respect to a line/point.</p> |
