PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reasonable structure for a sun visor provided with a shading extension plate. SOLUTION: The sun visor comprises a plate-shaped base body 2, a circle- shaped frame body 3, and the shading extension plate 4, wherein the frame body 3 having cover frame parts for covering each front and back side of the outer rim of the base body 2. The cover frame parts or the base body 2, or both of them, form a guide for the shading extension plate 4, which is to be drawn out from a pierced opening 3. Thus the position of the shading extension plate can be changed from a storing position to an extended position.
