PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of eliminating unnecessary loud sound by automatically adjusting the volume of sound based on whether or not a game player is on a seat for enabling players around to play games calmly, and reducing useless consumption of energy. SOLUTION: A sound adjusting means capable of adjusting the volume of sound generated by a sound outputting means, and a player detecting means to determine whether or not a player is playing a game are provided. The sound adjusting means is composed to set the volume of sound low when the player detecting means does not detect a player, and set the volume of sound at a normal level when the player detecting means detects a player.
