PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge frame for connecting flat bodies where the long use of the flat body and the durability of a connecting member are improved by preventing the flat body from becoming unused due to the damage in a conventional connecting part by separating the flat body from the connecting part detachably. SOLUTION: This edge frame for connection is mounted to the peripheral end part of a flat body 5, and is provided with a fitting groove 2 for detachably fitting to the peripheral end part of the flat body 5 over the lower surface in the longitudinal direction of a frame edge body 1 made of a flexible plastic. A plurality of engagement pieces 3 are provided on the upper surface in the longitudinal direction of the frame edge body 1 at a constant interval. An engagement groove 4 is formed at the same side along the upper surface of the edge frame body 1 in the base part of the engagement pieces 3.
