PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot for nursing care support in which a cared person can input data easily to operate and required information and the like can be reliably reproduced at required time, and by which the information can be efficiently exchanged between a caregiver side and a cared person side. SOLUTION: The robot is constituted so that, in a casing 11 constituting the robot main body, there are provided a wide area communication means 12 for enabling the communication with the outside through a public network, storage means 13 and 14 for storing the received information, a designated time judging means 16 for judging whether or not reproduction time is designated in the received information or stored information, reproducing means 23 and 24 for reproducing the received information and informing the cared person by means of sound or an image, and a reproduction control means 16 having a clock function and starting its operation according to the result of the judgement by the designated time judging means to make the reproducing means 23 and 24 perform reproduction when a reproduction time is designated in the communication information.
