PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assaying creatine kinase MB isozyme(CK-MB) by the immmunological inhibition method using an anti-human CK-M-inhibiting antibody, wherein the method permits selectively excluding mCK that is simultaneously assayed, and accurately assaying CK-MB. SOLUTION: The subject antibody is a monoclonal antibody that specifically recognizes mCK protein (e.g. human mCK), specifically inhibits its enzymatic activity, to be concrete, is capable of specifically recognizing human mCK, is derived from mouse, it IgG class, was named mCKI-578, and is produced by a hybridoma having a deposition number of FERM BP-7133. A method for assaying CK-MB is also provided using the antibody and anti-human CK-M- inhibiting antibody.
