PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid removing device suitable for removing solids generated during a stage for treating easily polymerizable substances. SOLUTION: This solid removing device has a body part having a fluid inlet pipe and a fluid outlet pipe, and a filtration part disposed between the fluid inlet pipe and the fluid outlet pipe in the body part. The filtration part ranges in thickness from 5 to 500 mm, in fractional void from 60 to 99.5 vol.%, and in contact surface area from 100 to 2,000 m2/m3. Such a structure can easily remove solid materials and prevent polymerized substances from being newly produced when easily polymerizable substances are treated.
