PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush for cleaning a passage of endoscope capable of easily and surely cleaning the passage by brushing and a method for using the same. SOLUTION: A plurality of brushes 12 are provided at an interval in an axial direction of a flexible slender shaft 11 so that a member larger than the brushers 12 is not mounted over the entire length of the shaft 11. The brushes 12 are inserted from one ends 58 and 61 sides to the passages 55 and 56 provided at the endoscope and drawn from the other ends 59 and 60 sides to clean the passages 55 and 56 in the entire lengths by brushing.
