PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a bulbous crop processing. machine, since a roughly cutting operation of a bulbous crop is carried out in the middle of a conveying unit, actions of a traveling apparatus and the bulbous crop processing machine are obstructed by stems and leaves of a bulbous crop discharged by the roughly cutting operation. SOLUTION: In this bulbous crop processing machine in which a processing apparatus A for cutting a stem and leaf part t1 and a root part t2 of a bulbous crop T is arranged above the traveling apparatus 24, the processing apparatus A and the traveling apparatus 24 are driven by the same power source 27 and can be operated by clutch operations, respectively. A cutter 47 is installed at the front row part of a bulbous crop feed part 1 of conveying units 8/9 of the processing apparatus A.
