PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for manufacturing a slant board suitable for mass production so as to allow easy labor-saving machining of a slant board used for a foundation material, for which multiple slant boards are arranged for forming a foundation face in construction of a tilted floor face, a model member for a building and the like, or a packing material for various kinds of domestic electrical appliances and so as to perform proper machining of an angled slant board with a three-dimensional inclination face. SOLUTION: A plate/block type base body 20 molded by foaming a synthetic resin is supported on a supporting plate 3 so as to be tilted at an angle equivalent to that of a slant board top face, and a heating wire 4 is stretched horizontally while adjusting its height position. Then, the supporting plate 3 or the heating wire 4 is moved relatively in the horizontal direction so as to cut the base body 20.
