Biosensor (A) for determining substances in body fluid, particularly blood, containing opposing pairs of electrodes (8-11), at least one coated with an enzyme-containing substance, supported on both upper and lower parts (2,3) of the sensor. Parts (2,3), and an intermediate layer that includes a groove, together define a capillary that extends from an application port, at the edge of the biosensor, to an air vent in (2) or (3). The electrodes are situated in the capillary. An Independent claim is also included for a method of preparing (A). |
