PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a heavy load, securing wet drainage performance and traction performance and suppressing the scattering of drainage in the lateral direction of a vehicle and the generation of a crack in a block edge. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire for the heavy load has block patterns provided with four circumferential main grooves or more and their respective width-direction grooves crossing a land part, partitioned for formation by the circumferential main grooves, in the width direction of a tread. In the pneumatic tire, the tilt angle, relative to the circumferential direction of the tread, of each of the width-direction grooves of the shoulder block row on the outermost side in the width direction of the tread and each of the block rows adjoining sequentially inside the shoulder block row is set at 85-90 degrees, 75-85 degrees, and 80 degrees or less in the order in which the grooves are disposed from the outermost side inward. |
