PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to coat the whole channel face of a transverse channel of the shoulder part of a tire with a thin film of an electrically conductive rubber and to sufficiently exhibit electric conductivity even when an electrically conductive liquid rubber paste composition is applied on a part around the part corresponding to the earth end of a tread of a green tire to the part corresponding to the buttress and is vulcanized and molded. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire wherein the electrically conductive liquid rubber paste composition 6 is applied from the tire shoulder part SH of the tread constituted of a rubber composition mainly compounded with silica and before vulcanization and molding to an electrically conductive tread strip rubber 4 arranged on the tread side and connected with a side wall part so as to coat the surface within these ranges and is vulcanized and molded and the electrically conductive film constituted circumferentially of the above described electrically conductive liquid rubber paste composition along the land part of the tire shoulder part and an uneven face of the transverse channel, a plurality of reservoir holes 5 for the electrically conductive liquid rubber paste composition 6 are formed circumferentially along the tire from the surface of the tire shoulder part SH to the inner face in the above described tread before vulcanization molding and the above described electrically conductive liquid rubber paste composition 6 is applied circumferentially along the tire while it is filled in the reservoir holes 5 of this tread and is vulcanized and molded.
