<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can control the transfer of the micro- cracks of the surface of a cooling roll to the surface of a polyester sheet and can produce the polyester sheet excellent in smoothness and good in quality stably at a high speed for a long time in a method for molding the polyester sheet using the cooling roll having a micro-crack surface. SOLUTION: In the method for molding the sheet in which the molten sheet of the polyester in which terephthalic acid is used as a main acid component is extruded from an orifice-shaped nozzle, contacted closely with the cooling roll having the micro-crack surface, and solidified, the surface temperature of the cooling roll in the neighbourhood of a point where the molten sheet contacts the cooling roll is kept at 5-65 deg.C.</p> |
