PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die for a contact lens which can be easily used for either method of a double surface molding method or a one surface molding method, and a manufacturing method for the contact lens by using the molding die. SOLUTION: This molding die comprises a male die having a protruding surface section and a female die having a concave surface section. In such a molding die, the concave surface section of the female die is formed of a surface having at least two different curved surfaces for this molding die for the manufacture of the contact lens. Also, when the contact lens is manufactured using the molding die, the male die of the same shape is used for both of the one surface molding method and the double surface molding method. Then, the female die is properly selected in response to the manufacturing method in this manufacturing method of the contact lens. |
