PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording sheet difficult to bring about bleeding on a print image and capable of being used for printing a pigment ink. SOLUTION: An ink transmission layer 13 of the recording sheet 10 contains a filler and a surfactant having an HLB value of 9.0 or less, and a surface of a filler particle is covered with a lipophilic group of the surfactant. Thus, the ink coating on the surface of the layer 13 is not spread on the surface of the layer 13 but absorbed into the layer 13, not diffused in a planar direction in the layer 13, but linearly advanced in a depth direction and impregnated. Further, when a compound having a cationic group is added as a fixing agent to an ink receiving layer 12 of the sheet 10, fixability of the fixing agent is improved in the layer 12, and hence bleeding is not generated in the layer 12 as well. |
