<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter which can be housed and arranged compactly inside an air cleaner, or the like, and shows outstanding adsorption/filtering effects. SOLUTION: This air filter is made up of a filter medium 11 which is folded in a zigzag fashion and has a large number of crest parts 10 formed in a row, wherein the opening ends, on both sides, of a valley part 12 between the adjacent crest parts on the surface and back of the filter medium 11 or one of its sides are blocked to form a housing space 14 in the valley part 12. The housing space 14 is internally filled with one kind or two or more kinds of functional particles 15 selected from among a deodorizer, a sterilizer and a dehumidifying agent and then is covered with an air-permeable cover 16.</p> |
