<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head manufacturing method allowing easy installation of a weight inside a head body without causing any deformation or reduction of strength in the head body. SOLUTION: In this golf club head manufacturing method, the metallic head body constituted of a hollow outer shell body opened on the face side is integrally molded by casting, and a face member is installed to the face side opening in the head body. In molding of the head body, a weight insertion port is opened toward the face side opening while a pocket part holding a weight between a sole part of the head body and itself is integrally molded inside the head body, and after the weight is housed inside the pocket part from the face side opening so as to be fixed, the face member is installed in the face side opening of the head body.</p> |
