<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling method of foundry sand and adevice therefor capable of filling sand without jamming of sand and partly adjusting the filling density of sand in a complicated shape part of a pattern plate in a casting space and further, reducing noises when filling sand. SOLUTION: When foundry sand is filled in a casting cavity by compressed air, air is appropriately ejected from a plurality of perforated plates into a two-way hollow chamber tapered off downward to aerate the sand in the two- way hollow chamber tapered off downward and fluidize it afloat and control the exhaust air volume from the pattern plate by controlling the exhaust air volume from a piled mold flask. In this way, the filling density of the foundry sand in the casting cavity is partly adjusted.</p> |
