<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial coxa that can be safely used for a long period without destroying a cover-socket in a region receiving postoperative high load. SOLUTION: A concave 6 formed in a part of a hemispherical inner surface(HIS) 4A of a ceramic sliding portion 4 in a cover-socket 3 involves the deepest portion of the HIS 4A with a tip angle measured from the center of the HIS 4A ranging from 5 to 90 degrees in a sectional surface including the concave 6 and the maximum depth from the original HIS 4A being 0.1-100μm, and a variation degree of the depth from a border-line between the HIS 4A and the concave 6 to the deepest portion of the concave 6 with a variation degree of the depth/a unit length of the hemispherical inner circle direction being below 1μm/10μm. The concave 6 includes a region that receives the highest postoperative load.</p> |
