PURPOSE: A wrench is provided to release a bolt or a nut with a minimum actuation distance in a narrow space and to prevent damage of the bolt and nut by equally actuating a peripheral face of the bolt and nut. CONSTITUTION: A wrench(20) comprises out and inner lace(24,22); a unidirectional clutch(60); a bolt/nut connected to the wrench; a head unit(32) of cylinder shape mounted on the bolt/nut; a slanting face(24C) slanting on an inner circumference of the out lace; an install groove(24A) having the slanting face; a roller(26) vertically mounted on the install groove; a fixed protrusion(26A) protruded on both ends of the roller; a polygonal wrench(40); fixed grooves(42) inserting plural insert grooves(28A); and a latchet handle(51) rotating toward a specific direction while stopping the head unit. Thereby, the wrench contract or releases the bolt or the nut with a minimum actuation distance in a narrow space. Moreover, the wrench prevents damage of the bolt and nut by equally actuating a peripheral face of the bolt and nut.
