PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner containing a gas purifying function is provided to remove dust and gas of air letting in a cleaner body and to prevent explosion according to discharge of the gas by purifying the air. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner having a gas purifying function comprises lower and upper cases(1,2) removably installed; a purifying device(F); a receiving unit(1a) having a hollow shape to open an upper portion of the lower case; a wheel attached to a lower portion of the receiving unit; a suction device absorbing air and dust by being protruded toward a side of the receiving unit; an inlet port connected to the suction device; an inlet guide(1b) rotating the air by being installed on a rear side of the inlet port; plural radiating groove(2a) refrigerating a motor contained in the upper case; plural discharging grooves(2c) discharging the air while purifying the air by being protruded on a handle; a filter cap having the discharging groove; and a fixing end(2b) placing the motor generating vacuum.
