摘要 PURPOSE: A flow architecture for a remote high-speed interface application is provided to replace a standby matrix of a conventional priority output with a logic flow control mechanism embodied in a usable switch fabric for a data arrangement as well as a flow control are simultaneously processed. CONSTITUTION: Bidirectional PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect) buses(A,B) are interfaced with a switch architecture(400). Programmable flow queues(410,412) schedule packets according to the protocol request of a PCI bus interface(404). The programmable flow queues(410,412) are composed in the switch architecture(400) by one body, and the packet received from the PCI bus interface(404) to the switch architecture(400) is routed to the programmable flow queues(410,412) before the packet is output from the switch architecture(400).
