PURPOSE: An E-commerce system and a method for semiconductor design models are provided to directly identify and estimate the IP(intellectual Properties) of the semiconductor design models, and enhance the trust in trading by stepwise information publication through sellers. CONSTITUTION: In a web system(120), terminals of sellers and buyers are connected with an E-commerce system and Internet, and the E-commerce system and the terminals exchange data using a web browser. Information including the registered information of the sellers transmitted through the web system(120) are stored in a DB system(130). In a processing system(110), the buyer's search and select the registered information stored in the DB system, and the registered information are identified in case of identification request.
