PURPOSE: An optical measuring system is provided to measure the shape and the size of the object precisely by adjusting the range and the position of image with a two-dimensional CMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide semiconductor) image sensor, and to improve assembling efficiency by arranging the two-dimensional CMOS image sensors with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: An optical measuring system is composed of a first light source(20) projecting spot light; a first optical part(22) converting the spot light of the first light source into a first slit beam; a second light source(24) arranged in parallel with the first light source to project spot light; a second optical part(26) converting the spot light of the second light source into a second slit beam; a mirror(28) reflecting the first slit beam; a beam splitter(30) projecting the first slit beam and the second slit beam on an object(1) with crossing in the rear part of the second optical part; a light receiving lens(32) receiving reflected rays from the object; and a two-dimensional image sensor(34) forming image of the slit beam from the light receiving lens. The spot light sources from the first and second light sources are converted into slit beams with first and second optical parts, and the shape and the size of the object are measured precisely with projecting the cross slit beams on the object through the beam splitter. The range and the position of image are adjusted conveniently with the two-dimensional image sensor.
