PURPOSE: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell that prevents inner short-circuit and has high reliability and safety. CONSTITUTION: This non-aqueous electrolyte secondary cell includes an electrode body contained within a cell case, and the electrode body is formed by laminating and winding longitudinally band shaped positive and negative electrodes. When the inner diameter of the cell case is A, the maximum outer diameter of the electrode body is B, and the minimum outer diameter of the electrode body is C, a prescribed clearance is formed between the electrode body and the cell case so as to have (B+C)/2A in the range of 0.954 to 0.988 inclusive. |
