TFT TYPE FINGERPRINT SENSOR

PURPOSE: A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) type fingerprint sensor is provided to be capable of minimizing the insulation damage phenomenon due to static electricity between TFT lines by applying constant voltage to gate lines, data lines and shield lines. CONSTITUTION: A sensor array(44) converts the light reflected from a fingerprint into a predetermined voltage level when the fingerprint is contacted. A drive voltage supply(46) supplies drive voltage to the sensor array(44). A sensing part(52) senses the contact status between the fingerprint and the sensor array(44) and generates a control signal when the fingerprint and the sensor array(44) are contacted to each other. A control part(48) responses the sensing signal input from the sensing part(52) to control the voltage lever of drive voltage signals generated from the drive voltage supply(46).
