HEADER TANK FOR ALUMINUM RADIATOR

PURPOSE: A header tank for aluminum radiator is provided to reduce an assembly error by eliminating the need of using a jig when the header is coupled to the tank, while achieving an improved durability of the radiator and preventing leakage of the heat exchange medium. CONSTITUTION: A header tank(1) comprises a header(11) having a bottom portion where a plurality of insertion slots for insertion of a heat exchange tube(3) are formed in the lengthwise direction, and a header skirt portion extended upward from the bottom portion; a tank(13) having a ceiling portion, and a tank skirt portion extended downward from an edge of the ceiling portion and bonded with the header skirt portion; and an end cap closing both open ends of the header tank. The header skirt portion of the header has an insertion rail having an open upper portion to allow an end of the tank skirt portion of the tank to be inserted into the open upper portion, and which is formed integrally with the header skirt portion by a connection rib. The tank skirt portion of the tank has a support rail(136) which is recessed inward from the outside of the tank skirt portion and bonded onto the upper surface of the connection rib.
